WHY WE’RE HERE
WHY WE’RE HERE
You know you’re a good person.
But you can’t seem to shake the grip that anxiety has on your day-to-day thoughts.
You’re stuck in a cycle with rapid thoughts– trying to avoid the anxiety, only to become tougher on yourself and the shame you feel.
You want relief in the short term. To get your spark of confidence back in the medium term. And your life back in the long term.
You’re motivated to make change, but if you do the work, you want it to work.
That’s why I decided to eventually specialize in anxiety, OCD, and panic.
I’ve felt and feel everything you’re feeling.
I know what it’s like to live with debilitating anxiety. And more importantly, recover from it.
You work hard. You’re smart. You’re kind.

My Approach
Compassionate Education
The opposite of self-shame is knowledge.
When you know about your anxiety and how your mind works– you’ll be able to be a softer landing for yourself.
Even on days when the spiral is spiraling.
Direct
Approach
There’s no need for a weird, clinical interaction.
I’ll ask you questions about yourself to figure out what’s really going on, so we can customize treatment, exercises, and milestones to what you want to get out of therapy.
Hi, I’m Michelle
Meet Your Therapist
I’ve been working in mental health since 2010 and struggling with anxiety for oh, idk, maybe my entire life.
I started my private practice because I wanted to do things differently.
I’ve been to therapy, so I know what it's like when you and your therapist aren’t a fit. I wanted to create an environment where treating anxiety felt natural.
It’s intentional, results-driven work, but it doesn’t have to feel like a cold, clinical, A → B process. My style makes therapy, dare I say, fun.
By prioritizing a small case load, you’ll never feel like a number. And with my lived experience having anxiety, I know what works, what doesn’t, and what makes things feel worse. In here, you’re not alone, and I’ll work with you to shed the shame along with the anxiety.
And by using evidence-based practices, I’ll help you recover, not just feel better.

Consider the cycle ending.
Not just the anxiety cycle. But the cycle of trying things that don’t work. The cycle of wishing and praying on stars that one day you don’t have to deal with what’s going on in your head.
