What if you could get relief from anxiety without having to read all the self-help books on your nightstand?

Welcome to the place where anxious people who are tough on themselves not only tackle their anxiety, but finally feel confident with who they are.

You’re ready to stop overthinking. But you’re not sure where to start.

You’re not interested in a therapist who just agrees with everything you say and never pushes you outside your comfort zone. Toxic positivity is totally not your vibe. You’ve got goals that you want to reach. You want therapy that creates long term positive change, not just another vent sesh.

You want to feel confident in your decisions.

You want to feel more connected in conversations.

And you want to stop feeling like you’re always waiting for the next shoe to drop.

Hi, I’m Michelle!

I’m here for the anxious people who want to overcome anxiety and repair their relationship with themselves so they feel confident again.

I believe every client deserves to leave therapy feeling confident tackling anxiety and excited for their future, too. So if the thought of not having to plan your entire day around what could possibly trigger your anxiety makes you want to dance around in your kitchen, then I’m so glad you’re here.

So how does this work?

Step 1:

➢    Book an Intro Call

Book an intro call and I’ll block off 15-20 minutes in my calendar so we can see if we’ll be a good fit. I’ll ask you how anxiety is impacting you and what your goals are, and you can ask me how therapy works with me and if I feel confident that I can help you. It’ll be over the phone, low stakes, and I’ll walk you through all the questions.

Step 2:

➢    Decide if we’re a good fit

If we sound like a good match, you’ll let me know what works for your schedule to book your spot! Then, you’ll have a chance to review and complete all the intake documents in a secure online portal prior to our first session.

Step 3:

➢    Let’s crush anxiety together!

At the first session or two, I’ll get into the nitty gritty of how anxiety shows up for you, how you want your life to look, and start mapping out steps to get you there. All you have to do is log on to the video session. You’ll leave with a better understanding of how anxiety works and confidence in things you can do to actually reduce it.

It’s time to stop letting anxiety call the shots

Hey, I’m Michelle and I’m happy to be your guide in this process!

I’ve learned a lot about anxiety through my coursework and professional experience working as a therapist, but more importantly I UNDERSTAND what it feels like to live with debilitating anxiety and to RECOVER from it.

My style will include a lot of education up front, because I think the more you know the more compassionate you’ll be with yourself. And I want you to be able to do this without me, sooner rather than later.

I have a direct approach, so I’ll ask you a lot of questions because I think it moves the process along quicker and because I know how hard it can be to talk about yourself. And I’ll assign homework, but not worksheets and quizzes. It will be custom fit opportunities for you to grow toward your goals outside of session, with the support of weekly accountability and encouragement from me.

I have been in the mental health treatment field since graduating from undergrad in 2010 in a variety of roles. I’ve worked in research, hospitals, schools, and community clinics before opening my private practice. I am grateful for those experiences because I was exposed to a lot, but private practice is the best fit for me.

In my personal life I have spent time living all over the place in New York State, including NYC for many years, rural areas in Upstate, and currently in Syracuse, NY. These have been invaluable lived experiences that often help me to relate to a wider range of people, which of course lends itself to being able to meet with people across the state.

Hi, I’m Reba! You ‘ve probably seen me on Instagram.

I help Michelle by making her get outside and walk or run every day. And practice all of her coping skills when I eat her socks….hehehe
